Our story

Founded in Birmingham, England, we’re a small team of people with a deep appreciation for well-made ties: ties that endure by virtue of their quality and timeless ties that we ourselves wear every day for any occasion.

Brought up amongst the use of sartorial methods of tailoring due to our native tailoring roots stretching back four generations. With a keen eye for detail and style, we took it upon ourselves to ensure that the art of handcrafting silk ties stay alive in what may be described as a depleting market by some.
The passion that we have for this unique craft grew as our founder began his own collection of silk handmade ties and his admiration for the fine intricate detailing in crafting the ties became a passion. We started our journey in Milan where silk ties are of an abundance by analysing fabric and tie production techniques. Upon returning from Italy we began researching to see if there was any silk production taking place locally. Soon after, we stumbled across our main supplier in the foothills of the Pennines, Macclesfield, where the silk mill industry has lived for over 250 years.

Our family history of tailoring and our values have driven us to supply the finest quality of handmade ties with a promise that we will never compromise on quality or design.
